Peponi

January 31, 2012

On Friday night it was my school's annual fashion show, which this year was themed "Hello, Africa" . I was a model for my friends' collection and we got the second place ! The collection was named  "Peponi", which means Paradise in some African language. We had make up like birds of paradise and plants in our hair. The colours were all so beautiful and calm and overall the collection itself was really peaceful, just as paradise should be.  It was a wonderful night and all I have left to do is show you these amazing pictures and our video !!

Put the boots back on

January 27, 2012

Franz Ferdinand- Eleanor put your boots on

It's so incredibly cold here, that it can't be put into words. The best place to be is at home, under a blanket, drinking some hot beverage. And that's what I plan to do all weekend. But tonight is our school'f fashion show. I'm not participating as a designer, as I did last year, but I'm a model for a collection, so expect pictures soon !

As for the outfit, it's a simple everyday look, with a warm scarf and my amazing fall boots turned into winter boots with socks. And just to make it a bit colourful, the tights.

DIY: Chain bracelet

January 24, 2012

I was going through my inspiration folder, when I came across these bracelets and decided that right now would be a good time to make me a couple of those. I planned to do a full tutorial post, but then I realized, that it's just basic crocheting. So, if you can crochet, you'll get it by watching the pictures and if you don't then it would be really difficult to explain.
Have a wonderful week, everyone :)

To post or not to post

January 14, 2012

After long hesitation I decided to post these pictures taken last Friday (?) , when I went to play pool with Getter. It was a rainy day and the pictures didn't turn out that great, but now, I still decided to post them, because there's quite a small change of a new outfit post soon, due to the lack of proper weather, time, light and personal photographer. So these will have to do.

I decided to wear my recent new buys: this incredibly cozy sweater from H&M and the lovely orange shirt I found when I went thrift-shopping. I paired them with my vintage Armani jeans, oh yeah, I'm that fabulous. The coolest things are the details, really. I lovelovelove the elbow patches and the bracelets just match the colours perfectly.

Enjoy your weekends, everyone !

Sponsor spotlight: Everybody's Buying Vintage

January 10, 2012

I'd like to introduce you to the newest sponsor of my blog. It's a wonderful online vintage shop called Everybody's Buying Vintage. Browsing through the shop was an absolute delight. There's things for every taste, some girlier, some a bit more edgy. Of course my favourites were the dresses. I could imagine myself wearing one of the wonderful floral dresses to a festival next summer, or to the beach or just going for a ride on my bike. It's that kind of a shop that just makes you want to wear all of those clothes immediately.
Again, it was so incredibly difficult to choose something from the shop, but I really want to show you the dress I picked out. Plus there's a little surprise waiting for you ...
Go check out their facebook page or the shop itself for more information .
I hope you like them as much as I do !

The magical first

January 03, 2012

I wore my gift from AX Paris for the first time today, in the first post of the new year. I chose this adorable dress for many-many reasons. As I've told you, it was a really difficult choice, but this dress was the winner. Why? Because it's versatile, comfortable, fitted, has a lovely colour and it has pockets! What more can you want from a dress..

I decided to pair it with my cape and a faux-fur collar. I wore a cardigan underneath for warmth, because as you can see, we finally have snow ! It's kind of a wet and melting snow, but it still looked great against today's winter sun. Overall this outfit is kind of a winter version of this simple look from autumn.
