August Feels

September 15, 2015

Every August I develop a strong fancy towards full length skirts. Maybe because it's chillier outside and my pins need a bit of coverage, maybe it's because I'm tired of wearing all the short skirts (yeah, right, like that's possible!) and need something a bit more ladylike. Whatever the reason behind my late summer's love for long skirts, I was pretty damn happy that this monochrome gem of a package arrived just before my last few days in Tallinn.
Sometimes when ordering things off the Internet, especially from Asian shops, you can get the crappiest piece of shh ever. With this skirt I was afraid that it's going to be totally see-through, made for someone that's fifty centimeters shorter than I am, the pattern being completely off and what not. But how gorgeous is this floor-gracing dream? I seriously had to contain myself to not twirl around the park instead of just plain walking, it's so dreamy! It's currently sold out at Style Moi, but I'm sure that with some Googling skills you'll be able to find something equally as nice.
You can bet on good quality, however, by buying local design. Just before taking these pictures, I hopped by Nu Nordik (which is quite possibly the coolest design store in Tallinn) and borrowed this little navy style pin by Sirje Raudsepp to accompany my outfit. Feeling quite glamorous and daring, I pinned it on my waist - a trick learnt from the always chic Stellarium

    1. Thanks! The bow was kind of an impulse addition, but it somehow pulls it all together.

    1. Exactly! When I order two things, then one of them is usually crap and the other one kind of okay, but this skirt is a gem!

  4. I prefer longer skirts, my legs don't look good above the knee so longer lengths are my thing. It's really nice
