Arctic Monkeys - Mardy Bum

Today was another one of those lovely spring days, with the sun shining in from my window the better half of the day and making everything nicer. What I did to celebrate all this extraordinaryness? Went to eat ice cream of course! 

I spent the morning lazily on bed, with a cup of coffee and Alexa Chung's "It". I've been devouring the book like it's melt-in-your-mouth brownie. I'm starting to get the idea that when I grow up, I want to be her. To be honest, this outfit is probably slightly inspired by (read: completely copied off of) Alexa's tomboyish style. Though the headband and the ribbon add a blairwaldorfish twist, so there you have it - my two biggest style influencers put together in one Saturday outfit!

Täna oli jälle üks selline tore kevadpäev, kui päike paistab aknast sisse ja teeb kõik ilusamaks. Kuidas ma seda erilisust tähistasin? Loomulikult tegin Karlovas ühe pika-pika jalutuskäigu ja käisin jäätist söömas. 

Hommikupooliku veetsin laisalt voodis, jõin kohvi ja lugesin Alexa Chungi raamatut "It". Ma olen seda raamatut neelanud nagu see oleks maailma kõige suussulavam šokolaadikook. Hakkan vaikselt arvama, et kui ma suureks saan, tahan olla tema. Ausalt öeldes, on see riietus ka ilmselt pisut inspireeritud (loe: täielikult maha kopeeritud) Alexa lahedast poisilikust stiilist. Kuigi peavõru ja lipsuke annavad kerge blairwaldorfiliku nõksu juurde. Nii ongi ühes outfitis kokku saanud kaks minu suurimat inspiratsiooni-naist!

Yes/No

I'm back in the city and adjusting to the post-festival life. On my first day off work I met up with two of my best friends for some much-needed girlie chit-chat and catching up. We spent a lovely few hours at my favourite spot in the city, munching on frozen yogurt and enjoying the not-so-sunny day. 

Even if it wasn't that warm, I wanted to wear my new Persunmall shorts, which are the sartorial definition of city chic. Also, these shorts are all over the blogosphere these days and I'm happy to finally be on the bandwagon. Who needs originality anyway? Paired them ever-so-casually with a T, reminiscent of the fabulous "Ain't no wifey" one , which you know, when you are such a big fan of Cara Delevingne as I am. As soon as I saw it I knew that even if I'm not that much of a rock-the-casual-T girl, I have to have it, to add that little bit of attitude in my wardrobe with that censored bar. 

So, are you saying yes or no to these origami shorts? 

Olen linnas tagasi ja hakkan vaikselt eluga jälle ära harjuma. Esimesel vabal päeval sain kokku kahe hea sõbraga, et lihtsalt pisut Vabaduse väljakul istuda, külmutatud jogurtit limpsida ja tühjast-tähjast jutustada. Ilm ei olnud isegi soe, aga see oli täpselt selline suvepäev, nagu mulle meeldib. 

Sain lõpuks võimaluse kanda oma uusi lühikesi pükse Pesunmallist, mis on absoluutselt sellised linnas käimise püksid. Samuti on need terve suve umbes igas moeblogis figureerinud ja nüüd siis sain ka mina neist osa. Kellele üldse seda originaalsust vaja on? Kandsin neid lihtsalt koos T-särgiga, mis meenutab mulle üht, mida Cara Delevingne kandis, mida te teate, kui olete tema sama suur fänn, kui mina. Ma isegi ei ole suur t-särkide kandja, aga millegipärast meeldis see mulle kohe, kui seda nägin. Pealegi, see tsenseeritud välimus lisab mu garderoobi pisut karmimat joont.

I have so much to share with you, starting with my graduation and meeting the president, no biggie. But yesterday afternoon, I met up with one of my favourite Estonian bloggers, Evamaria from Lost in the Wardrobe, to show her some of the best thrift shops in Tallinn. We had so much fun, walking miles without even realising it and talking nonstop like any two girls. Of course, when two bloggers meet, they use the opportunity to take pictures of each other and here's the result! 

Since the day was scorching hot and I had spent the morning in a long, completely non-airy dress and heels, then for the day, I wanted to wear as little clothes as possible. As I opened my closet, the first thing I saw, where these superlight shorts and they just felt so right instantly, especially since I always only wear them just a few times every summer. Paired my favourite shirt with them, but in a completely different style than usually- with the top buttons undone slightly more than is usually my comfort zone and the bottom of it tied in a know slightly higher than is my comfort zone. But to me, the golden accessories made the outfit. I finally (finally!) got the amazing electronic watch as a graduation present from my aunt. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I've wanted it for at least 3 years and now this beauty is mine! The necklace is just too badass for words, I'll let the massive chain and the lion's head do the rest of the talking. 

Nii palju on rääkida, alates lõpetamisest ja kohtumisest presidendiga, aga ma alustaksin hoopis eilsest päevast. Sain kokku ühe oma lemmikuima eesti blogijaga, Evamariaga blogist Lost in the Wardrobe, et näidata talle toredaid Tallinna kaltsukaid ja lihtsalt koos üks vahva päev veeta. Ja see päev oli tõesti imetore! Kõndisime üürtult palju, aga ei saanud arugi, sest nii paljust oli rääkida, lõunatasime Klausis ja lõpuks kuulasime Bollywoodi terrassil ilusat Anna Põldvee triot. Loomulikult, kui kaks blogijat kokku saavad, kasutavad nad ka võimalust üksteisest pilte teha ja tulemus on siin!

Kuna päev oli tõeliselt palav ja ma olin hommiku veetnud kleidi, kontsade ja sukkadega, siis tahtsin pärastlõunal kanda nii vähe riideid kui võimalik. Tegin kapiukse lahti ja vastu vaatasid just need püksid ja teadsin, et teen õige valiku, eriti, kuna ma kannan neid alati vaid paar korda aastas. Nagu ikka, panin selga oma lemmikpluusi, aga seekord tegin ülemised nööbid nii lahti, kui mu sündsusepiir lubas ja alumise osa sidusin naba juurde sõlme. Outfiti lemmikosaks on minu jaoks siiski need kuldsed ehted. Sain endale lõpukingiks selle elektroonilise kella, mida ma olin umbes kolm aastat tahtnud. Nüüd kaunistab see siis lõpuks mu rannet! Kaelakee on sõnade jaoks liiga cool, seega las need imelised pildid, pöidlajämedune kuldkett ja suur lõvipea räägivad edasi.
