Veiled

November 05, 2014

Third day of fashion week and here's what I wore. A dress from New Yorker that I'd bought for Halloween. Equally as fitting for fashion week, but if you want to see the more bloody Halloween edition, head to my Instagram. I like the underpinnings trend vibe on it and gladly took the chance to wear something that might also be a nightgown (not as Rihanna did though..).
Then there's the veiled headband with toses on it. I actually wanted one from H&M that had just a row of black roses on it, but during my pre-fashion-show shopping, I didn't spot it in the store, so I settled for this one. It was either roses or rabbit ears.
Again, pictures by Anete Palmik, our star-photographer for fashion bloggers. And thanks, Kamilla, for keeping me company!

Moenädala kolmas päev ja minu seljas oli... New Yorkerist allahindlusega ostetud kleit, mida tahtsin tegelikult Halloweenil kanda.
Pildid jälle Anete Palmiku, eesti moeblogijate staarfotograafi poolt.

Blue is the warmest colour

May 16, 2014

A few weeks ago I received an email from Kutshimutshi, which is a vintage and design store here in Tartu, asking if I'd like to pick something from their store to style and wear. Well, yes? When I went to pick out the clothes and jewellery, I had in mind that I'll do one outfit. But then they let me loose in the store (which is fairly small, but fits a whole lot of coolness on only a few square meters) and I ended up with three outfits. This is the first of them, featuring a remade vintage dress, which just begs to be twirled in and 5 ridiculously big organza flowers on my head. They're actually just pins, but if I have the opportunity to resemble Lana Del Rey, I'll take it.
So yes, this is a fine example of how to work vintage pieces into your wardrobe and get questioning looks on the streets (mine included a shop-lady, passing bikers and drivers and playing children).
Be sure to check out Kutshimutshi's blog too (here) for a lot more vintage goodness!

Rohkem pilte Kutshimutshi blogis!

When did you last wear your denim shorts?

Arctic Monkeys - Mardy Bum

Today was another one of those lovely spring days, with the sun shining in from my window the better half of the day and making everything nicer. What I did to celebrate all this extraordinaryness? Went to eat ice cream of course!
I spent the morning lazily on bed, with a cup of coffee and Alexa Chung's "It". I've been devouring the book like it's melt-in-your-mouth brownie. I'm starting to get the idea that when I grow up, I want to be her. To be honest, this outfit is probably slightly inspired by (read: completely copied off of) Alexa's tomboyish style. Though the headband and the ribbon add a blairwaldorfish twist, so there you have it - my two biggest style influencers put together in one Saturday outfit!

Hommikupooliku veetsin laisalt voodis, jõin kohvi ja lugesin Alexa Chungi raamatut "It".

Accidental bargain hunt

October 04, 2013

I don't always post about my shopping, but when I do, it's because I want to brag about the bargain. Last weekend, I had some time until my bus, so I popped in to Seppälä. Turned out, they had a huge sale and all that's pictured below was under 15 euros. In total. That's right- two pairs of shoes, the prettiest headband and a metallic clutch for the price of 5 lattes.

Kokku. Kaks paari kingi, imeilus peavõru ja metalne kott 5 kohvi hinna eest.
