Autumn has settled in, almost overnight. It was just last weekend, when I was going on about the trees not turning magically golden and there being a general lack of autumn-ness in The Netherlands. Then on Saturday our group of friends went on a day trip to Antwerp and when we came back, Utrecht had realised that it is indeed October and gone full on autumnal. Though despite it being early October, I could still go without tights on Sunday and enjoy the indian summer cycling (and twirling!) around in my new metallic skirt. 

A few posts ago I promised you another look into my "neutral metallic" wardrobe and here it is - my new greyish skirt, which I found at a local second hand store, but is actually very reminiscent of that amazing Gucci fall-winter show. I styled it in the simplest, most comfortable and very "me" way with a white shirt (I almost wore the same collared one as in my last outfit post!), faux leather jacket and that trusty Topshop fedora. 

As I mentioned (and as you maybe spotted from my Instagram), on Saturday I paid a little visit to Belgium and the gorgeous Antwerp, which means that really soon you can see a new travel vlog and of course, expect an outfit that got me through three hours on the bus and a day of exploring design shops and chocolatiers. So keep an eye on the blog or better yet, follow it on Bloglovin, because everybody knows that it's the easiest way. 

Kuidagi märkamatult on sügis kätte jõudnud. Veel eelmise nädala lõpus mõtlesin ja rääkisin, et kas siin Hollandis puud kollaseks ei lähegi ja seda maagilist kuldset sügist ei tulegi. Siis laupäeval käisime sõpradega Belgias Antwerpenis ja tagasi tulles oli Utrecht aru saanud, et tegelikult on juba oktoober ja täitsa sügise nägu läinud. Hoolimata oktoobrist oli aga pühapäeval nii soe, et sain ilma sukkadeta oma uues metalses seelikus keerutada ja rattaga ringi sõita!

Paar postitust tagasi lubasin teile, et näete veel mõnd "neutraalset metalset" riideeset ja siin see on - minu uus hall seelik, mis meenutab veidi isegi seda ägedat Gucci sügistalvist moesõud. Leidsin sellegi sealtsamast kaltsukast, kust eelmise postituse metalse koti vaid mõne euro eest. Kõige lihtsam, mugavam ja minulikum oli seda kanda muidugi valge pluusi (napilt oleksin sama triiksärgi ka selga pannud, mis eelmises outfitipostituses), nahktagi ja kaabuga. 

Nagu öeldud (ja nagu te võib-olla Instagramist näinud olete), siis laupäeval käisin Antwerpenit avastamas, mis tähendab seda, et varsti võite oodata üht reisivlogi ja muidugi ka uut outfiti! Hoidke blogil silm peal või jälgige Bloglovinis, sest nii on tegelikult palju lihtsam.

Neutral Metallics

None of the items I'm wearing in this post came to the Netherlands with me in one of my overpacked and/or overweight suitcases. Ok, the shoes did, but I was wearing them and that's still a pretty big portion of fashion blogger effort put into one outfit, considering the percentage of never before seen clothes in this outfit. Though it might seem like it, I haven't actually been clothes shopping a lot, I've just come across some very great pieces that seem to fit together (isn't this just the best excuse you've ever heard?).

The leather-look, but actually coated burgundy jeans came home with me, when I had a stroll on the shopping- and leisure street Oudegracht looking for a waterproof jacket (a real necessity in the Dutch weather!). I didn't find a good rain jacket, but I did spot those jeans and I had missed a few similar pairs a few seasons back. By chance, this pair was only 10 euros and fit me like a glove. I didn't hesitate one bit. 

I also have a very loving relationship with everything metallic and this bag (and bracelet) is a great example of what I like to call "a neutral metallic". I actually found it at a second hand store here in Utrecht and even though I'm pretty sure that it's actually a children's handbag, then for less than five euros, it became mine and has got lots of wear ever since. Fun fact: It even fits a bottle of wine and isn't that the main thing us women look for in handbags? 

I have lots of outfit ideas in my head and pretty spots around town pinned down, so stay tuned for more lovely houses and love of metallics! 

Ükski riietusese nendelt piltidelt ei reisinud minu suures täistuubitud ja ülekaalus kohvris minuga Hollandisse. Okei, no kingad tegelikult tulid kaasa, aga kandsin neid jalas ja sellegipoolest on siin postituses väga tubli panus moeblogimist sees, arvestades kui palju on siin täiesti uusi riideid. Tegelikult ei ole ma üldse nii palju šoppamas käinud, olen lihtsalt kuidagi kogemata leidnud mitu sellist asja, mis omavahel hästi sobivad. (Kas see pole mitte parim vabandus, mida te kunagi kuulnud olete?)

Need nagu nahast, aga tegelikult mingi materjaliga kaetud teksapüksid ostsin siis, kui otsisin endale hoopis vihmajakki (see on kõige olulisem riietusese Hollandis!) Utrechti põhilise šoppamis- ja restoranitänava Oudegrahti poodidest. Ühes poes oli meeletu allahindlus ja muu hulgas olid kümne euro eest müügil ka need püksid. Olen juba eelmistel aastatel sarnaseid peaaegu nahast tumepunaseid pükse poodides näinud, aga kogu aeg millegipärast ostmata jätnud. Need aga maksid nii vähe ja istuvad mulle nagu valatult, nii et ma ei kahelnud hetkegi. 

Veel meeldivad mulle väga igasugused veidike metalsed aksessuaarid ja see kott (tegelikult käevõru ka) on hea näide sellistest "neutraalsetest metalsetest" toonidest, nagu mulle meeldib neid nimetada. Selle koti leidsin hoopis ühest Utrechti kaltsukast ja kuigi ma olen suhteliselt kindel, et see on algselt olnud mõne väikese preili käekott, siis vähem kui viie euro eest sai see minu omaks. Muide, sinna kotti mahub väga hästi üks veinipudel ja kas see pole mitte iga naise kõige olulisem kriteerium üht käekotti ostes?

Mul on päris mitu uut postituse- ja riietuseideed peas ja väga palju ilusaid kohti linnas juba üles märgitud, nii et vaadake ikka lähiajal siia tagasi, et veel armsaid maju ja metalsearmastust näha!

Spring in my step

As you might now, flats are the new heels for this spring, and lately, I've stumbled upon so many beautiful flats for spring that I just couldn't leave the shop without. I have two new pairs of oxfords, one round toe and one super spiky, one in matte leather, one in patent leather. I need to justify buying two pairs somehow, so I keep finding differences between them. I also found the cutest pair of black-and-white flats at a thrift store in Tartu, they have such a cute 60s vibe which resembles the Louis Vuitton spring collection so much. Then there are my tweed flats from last autumn. And last, but not least, these burgundy loafers. They're a total grandma shoe, but I love them so much. Now, all that's left to do, is wait for the weather to catch up. Snow and new shoes don't go together very well...
Which pair do you like the most? 

Võib-olla olete kuulnud, et madalad kingad on sel kevadel täielikult kontsaga kingi välja tõrjumas. Viimasel ajal olen nii paljude lahedate madalate kingade otsa komistanud, et ise ka ei usu ja nii olengi nelja uue paari võrra rikkamaks saanud. Mul on kahed nööridega kingad, ühed lakknahast, teised mitte, ühed terava ninaga, teised ümaraga. Pean ju ometi endale kuidagi kahe sarnase paari ostmist õigustama ja seega ma otsingi pidevalt nende kahe vahel erinevusi. Tartust leidsin veel need imelised must-valged kuuekümnendate hõnguga kingakesed, mis meenutavad mulle väga Louis Vuittoni kevadkollektsiooni. Siis on veel eelmise sügise tviidkingad. Ja viimaseks- mu uued tumepunased loafersid. Need on tõelised vanaemakingad, aga mulle nii väge meeldivad. Nüüd jääb järele ainult oodata kuni ilm järele jõuab, sest lumi ja uued kingad ei sobi just väga hästi kokku.

Everyday Wonderwoman

Have you ever thought, how small things happening in everyday life are real wonders? It's a wonder when you favourite movie comes on the TV, it's truly a miracle when your sibling decides to do the evening's dishes, it's a real wonder when you pass that difficult math test. It seems like a wonder of the world, when you get that perfect sugar-to-milk ratio in your coffee. As Picasso said, it is a miracle that one does not dissolve in one's bath like a lump of sugar.

My recent little everyday wonder is finding this megaawesome T-shirt from a thrift shop. For merely a euro, it was like stealing! I was so anxious to wear it that I even hand washed yesterday, which happens as rarely as miracles. In true Wonderwoman spirit, I wore paired it casually with jeans, so my secret identity would be safe, but added my cape too, because, you know.. superheroes and stuff. 

Kas te olete kunagi mõelnud, kuidas väikesed igapäevased asjad on tõelised imed? See on ime, kui su lemmikfilm tuleb telekast, see on tõeline ime kui su väike õde otsustab ise õhtused nõud ära pesta, see on ime, kui saad selle tohutult raske matemaatikatööga hakkama. See on ime, kui kohvis on täiesti ideaalne suhkru ja piima vahekord. Nagu Picasso ütles, on see ime, et inimesed vannis suhkrutüki kombel ära ei lahustu. 

Minu hiljutine pisiime oli selle megalaheda pluusi leidmine ühest Tartu kaltsukast. Vaid ühe euro eest tundus see liiga hea, et olla tõsi. Oma suures õhinas seda kanda, ma isegi pesin selle käsitsi ära, mis on juba omakorda sama harv juhus kui ime. Tõelise Imenaise vaimus kandsin seda igapäevaselt ja lihtsalt teksadega, et mu salaidentiteet ikka salajas püsiks, samas pidin kandma ka oma keepi, sest noh.. superkangelased ja nii.
