Sometimes, when getting dressed, I start to think of what else has happened while I was wearing these clothes. When choosing clothes for Thursday night, when it was the Germany vs Italy game, the same thing happened. I really wanted to wear this outfit, but I remembered, that when I went to see the World Cup semi-final, I was wearing the same dress and then Germany lost. Even though I was so hoping for Germany to win this time, I still wore the dress, and they lost. I'm crazy like that. But like two years ago, I can say that at least now I can cheer for Spain in the final game tonight.
As for the outfit, the dress has been a summer favourite of mine for years. It has the loveliest colours and a great classic paisley print and also flows in the wind, which is always good. The sweater was made by my mom and kind of inspired by this Mango sweater.

Mõnikord tabab mind riietudes mingi imelik ebausk ja ma hakkan mõtlema, mis veel on juhtunud, kui ma neid riideid olen kandnud. Neljapäeval Saksamaa-Itaalia mänguks riideid valides juhtus sama. Mulle tuli meelde, et MM'i ajal kandsin poolfinaali vaadates sama kleiti ja Saksamaa kaotas. Muidugi lootsin, et Saksamaa sel korral suudab Itaaliat võita, isegi kui mul on sama kleit seljas, aga kahjuks mitte. Vähemalt saan seegi kord finaalis Hispaaniale pöialt hoida !
Mis sellesse komplekti puutub, siis see kleit on juba aastaid mu põhiline suvekleit. Mulle eriti meeldib selle värv ja muster. Kampsuni tegi mulle mu tragi ema ja see on mingil määral tehtud selle Mango kampsuni järgi.

When everything else fails..

We took these Wednesday, when I went to see the Germany-Netherlands game with Getter. I was originally planning to wear the colours of the German flag, because they're so obviously a better and cooler team. Somehow, I thought that milkmaid braids would show my support for the team instead.. I was also going to wear shorts, but after a realistic look at the thermometer, I decided to go with full-length trousers. So, when all of my dressing-up plans failed, I turned to my old and new favourites.
My suede blazer is the one item in my wardrobe that I could wear forever, it's the perfect basic piece of clothing that makes me feel great every time I wear it. The t-shirt is another basic, but a new one. I got it on our trip to Helsinki. The jeans you've met many times before and the bag is a simple DIY from last summer. You might have also noticed that I'm wearing an extremely white pair of Converse sneakers. This is the pair I ordered from Sarenza.eu. I think I haven't owned a pair of sneakers in years, but for some reason, I felt a real urge to have a pair of Converse, and here, the online shoe-heaven came to rescue. I topped off the outfit with my custom-made necklace that I received just for my birthday from Specially for U. It's such an awesome piece of jewellery and I absolutely love it.

Kolmapäeval käisin Getteriga Katusekinos Saksamaa-Hollandi mängu vaatamas. Alguses tahtsin kanda Saksa lipuvärve, kuna nad on ülekaalukalt parem meeskond. Selle asemel otsustasin hoopis punupatside kasuks, mis kuidagi peaksid olema seotud sellega, et ma just Saksamaale pöialt hoian. Plaanisin kanda ka lühikesi pükse, aga pärast termomeetri vaatamist otsustasin, et oleks mõistlikum end mitte pooleks külmetada ja otsustasin pikkade pükste kasuks. Seega, kuna kõik mu algupärased plaanid ebaõnnestusid, kandsin oma uusi ja vanu lemmikuid.
See sametpintsak on üks mu tõelisi aardeid, mida võiksin kanda absoluutselt igavesti. Must t-särgi ostsin Soomest, kuna mu teine must pluus hakkab vaikselt alla andma. Pükstega olete ka juba mitu korda kohtunud ja koti tegin endale eelmisel suvel. Sain kanda ka oma täiesti uusi Converse'i tenniseid, mille ma tellisin endale sarenza.eu 'st. Mul pole vist kaks aastat juba tenniseid olnud, aga millegipärast viimasel ajal tekkis väga suur tahtmine omada just valgeid Converse.

Talk about football

Friday was the big day- the play-off match between Estonia and Ireland. The game was awful, to say the least. As pretty much everyone else, I think it's partially the umpire's fault, but the Estonians didn't play well. I don't judge them though, it's our first time ever in the play-offs and that's already wonderful itself.
We spent the night at Merelle's , celebrating her birthday and afterwards went to the old town just to find out that there wasn't any room anywhere. All the bars/pubs/cafes were absolutely full (of Irish fans).

For the day I chose to wear my blue skirt, kind of as a support gesture.To make it a bit more interesting, I paired it with my new red cardigan. It's yet another thrifting find to be prepared for winter.

I've spent my Sunday mostly procrastinating, listening to Coldplay's and Florence's new albums and studying. Now it's time to watch this week's Gossip Girl episode and then I'm going to the cinema with my dad to see "Mulholland Drive".

Almost-outside picnic at Getter's. We are all wearing similar shoes, because Getter got about 5 pairs for free. Most of the pictures are taken with my almost-vintage camera from the ninties. I like the way they came out, they kind of remind me of my childhood:)

Oh, another FB themed post. Yesterday I spent a lovely evening at the main square enjoying the Germany vs. Spain game with my friends. I kind of like both teams, but I chose Germany's side. It's a shame they lost, but now I can cheer for Spain in the final game :)

I'm wearing my new maxi dress, my favourite shoes for the summer, because they match everything and a vintage bag.

Eile käisime tüdrukutega jälle Vabaduse platsil jalgpalli vaatamas, seekord siis saksamaa vs. hispaania. Mulle meeldivad mõlemad tiimid, aga olin Saksamaa poolt. Kahjuks nad kaotasid, aga nüüd saan finaalis Hispaaniale pöialt hooida.

Kandsin oma uut pikka suvekleiti ja oma selle suve lemmikkingi, sest need sobivad kõigega !
