I'll keep this short. It's my birthday today!! I'm turning 19 and the big 20, the start of a new decade, is only a year to go. So, I plan to make this year as perfect and as awesome as I can and you're all welcome to join me.

If you were wondering, then this in not my birthday outfit. I cheated and wore fancy clothes the day before, because today, after having cake for breakfast, I headed for Tartu.

Täna teen lühidalt.. Minul on täna sünnipäev! Saan 19 ja suur ja õudne 20, uue kümnendi algus, on ainult aastakese pärast. Seega, minu plaan on see viimane vana dekaadi aasta elada vapustavalt lahedalt!

Kui te juba mõtlesite, kas see on mu sünnipäeva-outfit, siis ei. Tegin veidi sohki ja kandsin ilusaid riided ühe päeva võrra varem, sest täna, pärast hommikusöögiks tordi söömist, sõitsin Tartusse.

Praeguseks, nautige seda suurepärast laulu mu absoluutsetelt lemmikmuusikutelt. Ilusat nädalavahetust!

African vibe

A few days ago it was Kaisa's birthday and since she is obsessed with everything African, we decided to take her to lunch to a place called African Kitchen. It was such a cool restaurant. All the dishes were African origin, the decor was tribal-inspired and with African colours and the overall atmosphere was so cool!
Since it was a really really hot day, I decided to wear a pair of loose shorts and a casual shirt, paired with my new thrifted necklace. With my hair in a bun, the outfit was perfect for that day. It all kind of reminds me of a safari.. and the colours of clay. Very African indeed.

Paar päeva tagasi tähistasime Kaisa sünnipäeva ja kuna talle tohutult meeldib kõik Aafrikaga seonduv, viisime ta sööma kohta nimega African Kitchen. Kõik toidud, sisekujundus ja muusika olid aafrikapärased ja üleüldse kogu atmosfäär oli väga lahe.
Kuna sellel päeval õnnistati meid väga sooja ilmaga, siis otsustasin kanda oma kõige lühemaid ja õhulisemaid pükse ja lihtsat särki. Kogu komplekt kokku meenutab mulle millegipärast safarit.. ja savi.

My sugary birthday party

I celebrated my birthday with my friends on Friday night. The event took place at a super-cool spot on the second floor of my favourite candy-shop. It was a lovely evening, filled with lovely people and perfect music. Everyone looked spectacular and the gifts were perfect. On the menu was nothing but sweets, so everyone left in a sugar overdose.
I decided to wear my 9th grade graduation dress, my favourite blazer, the amazing "Illuminated" necklace and my new shoes that I got as a gift from my aunt.

Reede õhtul tähistasin sõpradega oma sünnipäeva. Pidu toimus Kalevi kommipoe teisel korrusel, mis on muide väga põnev, peaaegu tundmatu koht suurepärases Rotermanni kvartalis. Õhtu oli imeline, lihtsalt mõnus aeg veedetud sõpradega magusat pugides. 
Kandsin oma üheksanda klassi lõpukleiti, lemmikpintsakut, oma "Illuminated" kaelakeed ja uusi kingi, mille sain kingiks oma tädilt (aitäh, aitäh).

Birthday day !

It's my birthday ! I'm 18 today, the magical grown-up age, although I feel the same as yesterday. Who would have thought, right?!
Anyway, I wore lots of sparkles today, accompanied by my new fantastic loafers and these amazing lace shorts that I got from Oasap. It was finally the right day ( and weather) to take pictures with them. When I ordered them, I was a bit hesitant what to wear them with, but now I can't wait for summer so I can wear these babies bare-legged and all. And they're seriously comfortable, not to mention the cute lace and sparkly waistband !
I'm off to eat cake now. Toodles !

Mul on täna sünnipäev ! Lõpuks täituski see maagiline 18, kuigi tunne on ikka sama mis eile. Hämmastav, või mis ?! 
Igatahes, otsustasin, et millal siis veel, kui mitte oma sünnipäeval kanda palju sädelust koos. Lõpuks oli ka õige päev, et pista jalga oma tuliuued kingakesed ja teha pilte nende vapustavate pitspükstega, mille ma sain poest nimega Oasap. Kui ma need tellisin, siis veidi ikka kahtlesin millega neid kanda, aga nüüd ma ei jaksa suve ära oodata, et paljaste säärtega ringi patseerida. Ning need on tõeliselt mugavad !

Birthday inspiration

My 18th birthday is this week and for the party I've gathered a few cool pictures as inspiration. It'll include lots of pastel coloured sweets, cakes and of course chocolate ! The venue is on the second floor of a candy-store, so it couldn't really be any other way, right.
By the way, we have snow.

2nd birthday !

Hurray ! Today is my blog's second birthday. I went to "celebrate" it with Getter with a little cake and coffee. Afterwards we went to see "Bad Hair Friday", which was really good, considering it was an Estonian movie. It had just the right amount of everything. I also think that the music and actors were great.
Also, I'd like to take this moment, to thank you all for these 261 posts, 828 comments and so on. You have all been wonderful and I wouldn't be blogging without the awesome support from you guys ! The biggest thank you to each and every one of you !

Täna on mu blogi teine sünnipäev ning see aasta on olnud imeline. Käisime seda Getteriga tähistamas kohvi ja koogiga. Pärast vaatasime veel ka "Vasaku jala reede" ära. Eesti filmi kohta oli see ikka päris hea. Eriti muljetavaldavad olid näitlejad, kes üldiselt suutsid mitte üle mängida ja muusika oli suurepäraselt valitud ( Ewert and the Two Dragons ja Tenfold Rabbit, kas saab paremat tahta?).
Kuna see postitus on sünnipäevahõnguline ja eriline , tahaksin tänada kõiki oma blogi lugejaid nende 261 postituse, 828 kommentaari ja kõige muu toreda eest. Ma ilmselt ei teeks seda ikka veel pärast kaht aastat, kui ei oleks teid :)

Sweater heaven in pink

My super-duper warm and fuzzy bright pink sweater. Made by my mom decades ago. Happy birthday to her   !
They say that the older you get, the more pink you wear. Even though half of my mother's wardrobe is in pink/purple colours, I have inherited this magnificent sweater. This is quite extravagant on its own, so I decided to dress it down with a simple black skirt, black tights and a white shirt. To make it just a bit more interesting I chose my favourite turquoise jewellery. 
Tomorrow we're going to Dagö's concert and on Friday we have lunch at fabulous Senso. Let the celebrations begin!

steps of the Met

Today is Roosi's birthday, so after school, we had a cup of coffee and since the weather was perfect, decided to drink it on the stairs at Liberty square, the "stairs of the Met" in Tallinn . Obviously it was the perfect people-watching spot. Next to us was a nice group of tourists from Spain, and the picture of the three of us is taken by Juan, a nice spanish guy :) Later, he also took a picture of us with his camera, said it is just for him.. and pretended to have lost his group , luckily we could show him the right way.

I'm so happy about my trench, I love the colour and it fits just perfectly ! I was planning to wear it with my new flats tomorrow, but then.... In the evening, I went on a little shopping tour with my mom. I had planned to buy myself a pair of totally unpractical, but comfortable shoes( kind of like my golden sandals, seen here) . Just when we were slowly leaving the shop , I spotted it. A cape, a cape, a cape, a cape . No second thoughts, it's mine now :)
