I usually dress in clothes on the more classical and basic side and you can never really go wrong with a blue-jeans-white-shirt kind of vibe, no? Especially when paired with an even more classic piece like a nude trenchcoat. I also tend to spice up my outfits with little fun details. Tn this case, the embellished jeans, black ribbon and that cute crown ring.

I also really like it, when my post titles have a meaning behind them. Today I very bravely didn't use a certain line from a certain Lana Del Rey song as the title, but instead I referred to my long-time favourite singer's new album. And in true fangirl spirit, I painted my nails blue to match the album cover. And no, I haven't bought the album yet, but I'm kind of hoping that Santa will surprise me with that.

Tavaliselt kaldun riietudes kõige klassikalisemate esemete poole ja olgem ausad, siniste teksade ja valge pluusi kombinatsiooniga ei saa just väga mööda panna. Eriti veel, kui neid kanda koos lihtsa beeži mantliga. Veel meeldib mulle oma riietuse juurde lisada väikeseid põnevaid detaile nagu pükste litritega allääred, must lipsuke ja mu armas krooniga sõrmus.

Samuti meeldib mulle, kui mu postituste pealkirjadel on mingi tagamõte. Pidin ennast väga tagasi hoidma, et mitte nimetada seda postitust ühe Lana Del Rey laulu repliigi järgi. Panin hoopis nimeks oma pikaajalise lemmiklaulja uue plaadi nime. Ja tõelise fännina värvisin veel küüned siniseks, et plaadiümbrisega kokku sobiks. Kogumikku ennast mul veel ei ole, aga loodan, et Jõuluvana aitab mind selles osas välja.

When the leaves began to change..

Finally getting round to posting the full outfit that was taken on the day when we took the pretty portraits. This kind of outfit is practically my uniform these days. I can't stress enough how much of a staple a basic beige trench-coat is in every wardrobe. I'm so happy about mine and I've worn it for years already. What's even better, I got it at a flea market for a ridiculously small price, so the cost per wear is close to nothing.
Worn with simple black jeans, a classic bag and a pair of flats, it's the perfect casual outfit for a Sunday.. or every day.

Lõpuks on mul aega ka terve outfit postitada. Selline riietus on täielikult minu igapäevane vorm. Ma ei saa ilmselt piisavalt rõhutada seda, kui oluline ja vajalik on tavaline beež mantel igas garderoobis. Ma olen enda oma üle eriti õnnelik ja olen seda juba mitu aastat kandnud ka. Eriti toredaks teeb selle asjaolu, et ma sain mantli kirbuturult täiesti naeruväärse hinna eest, seega on see ennast juba täielikult tasa teinud. 
Lihtsate mustade teksadega, klassikalise koti ja madalate kingadega on see kokku igati tore pühapäevariietus.. või igapäevane riietus.

Portraits of a fall day

Before I post the photos of my outfit that we took over the weekend, I decided to share these portraits first. I absolutely love the golden feel that fall has. So we decided to go a bit crazy with the leaves and weird faces and these lovely pictures turned out!
By the way.. I started thinking about my favourite season and I really can't name one. I thought that it's spring, because it's my birthday then and everything is pretty and blooming, but fall is equally amazing until it gets all gross and grey. Winter is so cute, when the first snow falls down and the magic of Christmas is unbeatable! And of course summer, because of the warm sun and the sea and the carelessness. In conclusion, I think that naming a favourite season is impossible in my case.. What's your favourite season?

Otsustasin enne järgmist outfit'i postitust jagada hoopis neid portreepilte, mille me eelmisel nädalavahetusel tegime. Ma absoluutselt armastan seda imelist kuldset aurat, mis sügisel on. Seega otsustasime lehtedega natuke hulluks minna ja lollitada ja vaadake, mis toredad pildid välja tulid!
Muide, ma hakkasin mõtlema, mis mu lemmikaastaaeg on ja ma vist ei suuda ühtegi valida. Tegelikult olen kogu aeg arvanud, et selleks on kevad, sest siis on mu sünnipäev ja kevade ärkamise võlu on tõeliselt tore. Samas on sügis ka väga ilus, nii kaua kuni see muutub rõvedaks ja halliks. Talv on armas, kui esimene lumi tuleb ja jõulude maagiat vist ei ületa miski. Ja loomulikult suvi, oma sooja päikese, merevee ja muretuse pärast. Seega, minu lemmikaastaaja leidmine on võimatu.. Mis on teie lemmikud?

* St.Petersburg, I love you.

As I wrote in my last post, I spent the past weekend in St.Petersburg with my class and I can surely say that I fell completely in love with that city! It was all I had hoped and dreamed of and more! We visited some truly magical castles and gardens and almost every step oozed with the grace and royalty of the Russian Empire.
Being a proper tourist, I took pictures of everything important (which also includes about 10 fountains in Peterhof). I only took my old film-camera with me and sadly, some of the pictures didn't turn out that great. I hope you enjoy these stunning views of my new favourite city and maybe consider this city as your next travel destination! If I could, I'd go back in a minute.

Nagu ma oma eelmises postituses mainisin, käisin nädalavahetusel klassiga Peterburis. Võin täiesti kindlalt öelda, et ma armusin sellesse linna täielikult ära. Me külastasime imeilusaid losse ja aedu ja kõigest hõngus tsaaririigiaegset kuninglikkust. 
Olles loomulikult täielik turist, tegin ma kõigest olulisest pilti. Samas, võtsin kaasa ainult oma vana filmikaamera, et liiga palju ei klõpsutaks. Kahjuks mõned päris lahedad pildid ei tulnud välja, aga ma loodan, et teile meeldivad needki vaated minu uuest lemmiklinnast! Kui see võimalik oleks, läheksin kohe tagasi.

Forest green

Today I show you a more casual and school-appropriate way of styling that stunning Sugarlips dress from my last post. I dug up my trusty fall sweater from the depths of my wardrobe and layered it over the dress, creating the effect of a perfect black skirt. A simple golden necklace was all the accessories I needed, if you don't count the schoolbag full of heavy books. The scenery also kind of matched my outfit and even though the leaves and grass are still green, I think that there's a pretty obvious fall feel in the air.

Tänases postituses kannan sama kleiti, mida eelmiseski, aga rohkem igapäevasemal ja koolisõbralikumal viisil. Otsisin kapisügavustest välja oma toreda sügiskampsuni ja seda kleidi peal kandes tekitasin mulje, et mul on hoopis üks perfektne must seelik. Üks tore kuldne kaelakee kaela ja muud polegi vaja, kui mitte arvestada rasket õpikuid täis kotti. Kuigi puud on veel rohelised, tundub mulle, et õhus on juba sügist tunda.

The parrot skirt

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for your sympathetic comments on my last post. I bet the loafers are in shoe-heaven now..
Yesterday was an oh-so-cultural day for me. First, I went to the art museum KUMU with my sister. It was so nice to take a break from everyday life and walk trough three floors of masterpieces. And I can't believe I hadn't properly seen it's architecture from the front. It's just breathtaking. Gotta love being a tourist in my own hometown. In the evening I went to the theatre with my mom to enjoy two actors playing at least 5 roles each and almost burst into laughs on the stage.
Continuing with the animal theme from my last outfit post I decided to wear a whole flock of parrots on my skirt to go to the theatre. When I saw the skirt at an H&M in Gothenburg during our trip, I knew I had to have it. It's just the fun and impractical piece of clothing to have, that goes with pretty much nothing. Luckily I managed to come up with this combination and pair it with my slouchy black knit and feminine accessories.
Tonight I'm going to see "The Intouchables" to check out what all the fuss around this movie is about.

Veetsin eilse päeva väga kultuurselt, külastades kõigepealt KUMUt ja siis Linnateatrit. Avastasin üllatusega, et kuigi ma olen mitu korda KUMUs käinud, ei ole ma kunagi näinud seda ehitist eestpoolt. See on lihtsalt hingematvalt võimas arhtitektuur! Linnateatris käisin vaatamas etendust "Kivid sinu taskutes", kus Indrek Ojari ja Argo Aadli mängisid kahekesi kõiki rolle ja peaaegu purskasid laval naerma. 
Jätkates loomatemaatiliste riietustega, otsustasin kanda seda H&M'i papagoiseelikut. Seda nähes teadsin, et ma kindalt tahan selle osta, mis sest, et seda on päris raske millegagi kokku sobitada. Õnneks sobis see mu musta kampsuniga, lisades naiselikke aksessuaare.
Täna õhtul lähen kinno vaatama filmi "1+1", et näha miks see film nii eriline on, et seansid on 3 päeva ette välja müüdud!

Scissor Sisters- Skin This Cat

Yes, this is me, wearing leopard print. When I found this dress at a thrift store, I was so happy. First, it was that leopard print piece of clothing I had searched for. You know, not all over the place, but just a little hint of it. Secondly, it's the perfect dress. It has a collar, pockets, sleeves, high waistline, basically everything a great dress should have, in my opinion.
I decided not to make a big fuss of the outfit, so I just put on my favourite heels and a pair of cute ankle socks. Sometimes it's good to let that inner kitten out (at least in the from of cat-eye sunnies!).

Poleks kunagi arvanud, et ma hakkan leopardimustrilisi asju kandma. Kui ma selle kleidi ühest kaltsukast leidsin, olin üliõnnelik. Esiteks, see oli lõpuks sellise väikese leopardimustriga riideese, mida ma olin päris kaua otsinud. Teiseks, see kleit on lihtsalt perfektne. Sellel on krae, taskud, kõrge värvel ja üleüldse kõik, mis ühel heal kleidil peaks olema.
